The new Superman is not Gay. I had the pleasure of meeting him, his sister and his girlfriend at a Charity function they were all participating in. Lovely people. Give the guy a break. Not that being Gay is the worst thing in the world but this young man is not gay.

the actor? I have no idea. I haven't even heard him speak yet.
the character? Naw, he just doesn't work as gay (except that one issue when he got exposed to pink kryptonite, and left Lois for Jimmy Olsen. Superman's Pal indeed!)
t-minus, are you that intimidated by speaking to kids? my brother's and sister's kids are all "in the know" about my liiving situation, and have been for a long time, because my siblings talked to them, in English, and the kids know me, love me, and know and tolerate my b/f (tolerate not because he's gay, but because he's kinda distant to the kids, just not a "kid" person)
Here's the key: it's not sex, it's love. as a child, my parents never had sex, they just loved each other. (I now realize they must have had sex 4 times, since I have 3 siblings, not that I like to think about it)
the problem isn't with them, it's with you.

Do you mean the character or the actor Brandon routh? I looked up Brandons bio on yahoo movies and they have listed under significant other companion Kevin Mann since 2003 although other sites say he has been in a relationship with a Courtny Ford..

WHY THE ***** do grown people claim this crap???? This movie is for kids!!!! I would hate it if my kid asked"mommy is superman gay? what is gay?"
Kids should not even know what that word is!!! These bored adults are ruining it for children!

maybe they should combine Brokeback Mountain and Superman in the next movie...then the world would never hear the end of that news flash...every tabloid TV show, mag or website would have major coverage of the movie

HE IS A NICE WHOLESOME MAN BUT I DONT THINK HE IS GAY, BUT IF HE IS SO WHAT. I NEVER HEARD OF ROUTH UNTIL THE SUPERMAN THING. MORE POWER TO HIM.

I don't think Brandon is gay, I do think this new costum is however. Why is the S so small? Are they trying to make his chest look bigger? And the way he stands is very gay.
