You speak about a lot of history especially when British history is included. You have to be more specific as to what you're looking for. Resources included your school or local library, internet searches on your specific questions, searches within internet locations such as the Library of Congress, etc.

The old fashioned place is of course the Public Library which has real books and reference sources. You can even use a computer at a library and go on-line to seek information by using a search engine. Yahoo.Com is a good place to start. If you do not want to go to the library use your computer at home.
