Do Not listen to those people saying nothing is wrong, Unless you installed a Deep Freeze under your dash (or someone snuck in an did that as a joke) then you are LOW on Freon / auto AC systems do NOT get under 35F unless there is a problem (normally low freon)

Do you have a leak? Does the A/C still work? Was it just frost on the dryer and lines? The frost is just the humidity in the air collecting on the cold lines. That means nothing. If there is a leak, however, and your A/C quits working...well, that's bad. If so, sounds like a high pressure switch failed and the system developed a clog and blew out a high pressure line. That can get expensive.

Sounds as if you are low on freon or whichever coolant is in your system. The compressor is working to hard to recompress the gas, hence the ice buildup. Get it checked right away. Frozen compressor leads to broken compressor and alot more money!!
