The answer I got from asking this question was that Jesus said he would return in "two" days and that a day is like a thousand years to the Lord. Since we dint know the actual year he was born, and no it is not as simple as 1 A.D, we don't know what year it was when He died at age 33. But if he were to return two thousand years after His resurrection than it would be 2033 give or take a few years.

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
Matthew 24:36, 42-44

Do you want me to tell you a time. Or do you ant to know he is alive now and a person waiting to change the world. Or would you like me to tell you that he is always here in your heart and your Jesus is only a love that pours through life encouraging all that is good. Whichever answer gives you most comfort and creates greatest love, wisdom and appreciation to all life and all the world is the only truth necessary for you to know.
I live in the truth and in that which brings greatest joy and deepest kindness and in that way though i am not a holy man, nor am i a messiah, nor am i a god, i am better suited to open the blazing hearts of those around me. If that is Jesus then so be it, if that is love then so be it, if that is wisdom then so be it. Whichever point brings you closer to the truth of being kind then it is yours. Now, find that truth in yourself and shine it to others around you in kindness and love.

Nobody knows the day nor the hour that Christ will return
Just make sure that you are ready to go with Him.
Who do make yourself ready??????
Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
I John 5:11-12 says this is the testimony. God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
So, all you have to do is accept and believe and you will be ready when He returns!!!!!!!!

Philosophy has no answer for this. Philosophy would look at this as a fable and a fable that specifically applied to a ruler in the middle east in the 1st or 2nd centure AD.

He will come back of the date and time predetermined by God.
"Therefore be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh." Matthew 24:44

I believe we are in the last days. He's on his way. Look at the world and all the horrible things happening, not to mention the way people are now. Their is lawlessness, greed and corruption in our own gov/t. They don't even know what they are doing! We definitely need help and God is the only one who can fix all.

He's not. He's like every other man... he died... he's gone.. that's it.... Amazing how completely the church has fooled everyone. Don't believe me???.... Why does God need money??? He doesn't... but every church in existence begs for money... and some even say it's god's "law" to give 10% of all you have to the church. Sounds to me like the church needs a job.
