This lady and her son lived in the apartment that I'm moving in for over 40 years. The mother has been dead for at least 25 years. I'm sure that this urine smell in the wood floor has been there every since. I've used industrial outdoor bleach, I've used a product called "Simple Green", I can't afford to have a new floor put in. I need help with what I can do.. Please Help!!

There are products you can buy in any grocery store that have living enzymes in them. I think you can apply this stuff and wait 2 days for it to dry, then vacuum up the remaining dust. That should take the smell away. I would suggest sealing the floor after that with Thompson's Water Seal or some similar product.

I see someone recommended "Nature's Miracle" and that product truly is the best one around for treating urine of cats and dogs... but I believe you might want to do a search of the internet to see if there's a comprable product that treats human urine.
Nature's Miracle works because it has specific enzymes in it that break down the urine enzymes that are on/in the item you are trying to salvage. If the enzymes are different (feline versus human), you may find that the product doesn't work as effectively (and Nature's Miracle isn't exactly cheap).
Soooo, you can give NM a whirl... but I don't know how great the results would be. Another thing you could do is contact, say, a professional carpet cleaning company and ask them if they have any recommendations of chemicals/products that you could use or buy for your wood floor.
And, since you are a new tenant in the apartment, I'm wondering if a reasonable landlord wouldn't help you subsidize part of the cost of cleaning to remove that smell.... since HE obviously didn't do a good enough job of hiring someone to get the apartment up to speed for a new resident.

The only way to get that smell out is by removing the wood under the carpet. The urine probably soaked the wood supporting the carpet. Sorry, but this is a huge problem. That smell won't go away with any cleaners... it's trapped in the wood. Good luck if you find another way!

Mix 2 quarts of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a box of soda (yellow Arm & Hammer will work) and 2 ounces of Murphy's Oil Soap.
Mop this solution onto the wood floor and let it soak for about 2 minutes. Rinse well. After the floor is dry, coat it with paint or clear urethane after sanding. Too much work? Sorry about that!

That is something that you shouldn't have to put up with. Your landlord should replace the floor and not make it your problem. There is nothing that you can put on the wood floor that would clear out the smell and not damage the wood floor.

There is a product in pet stores that you can buy called "Nature's Miracle" that is designed to kill the smell of urine. I have tried other brands but Nature's miracle seems to be the brand that works best.

re varnish the wood floors (sanding, several layers of varnish) that'll get rid of the smell.

unfortunately..the wood probably is soaked with urine.....other than replacing....no cleaning fluid can take the smell away....

sandgrind a couple of millimeters off, and cover with vernissa lack of paint for a finish.
