has anyone used it lately, when i click on a audio file to download, it goes straight to a web page called "napster" has anyone else had this prob lately? and how did you get it sorted

You're going for the most popular one. LimeWire doesn't want to get in trouble for offering free downloads so they give you options to pay for it. Just download one that hasn't been downloaded as much. But I do agree that it has been known to completely annhilate your computer and therefore you should be very careful about what you download on it. Don't download movies or any .exe files. If you must steal music, be smart about it.

you have uninstall it first and delete the .exe file from your PC . Download a new set of Limewire software & reinstall it again. While installing the you can declick on that paricualr column of napster. enjoy using limewire byeee

when i use limewire, the audio downloads into my audio file, I have never had this problem, maybe you should re-download it

My grandson used it last night no problems Didnt see anything unusual, looks like maybe your link is being redirected to another site. As with any website always keep your virus defintions current.
I use ADV (yes its free). I also use anti spyware ADAWARE (also free)

I think that file is corrupted. or install limewire once again

dont double click if it says sponsered result, i dont know why but it just goes to napster

Yes - I would avoid it. It has been a main cause for virus's on my computer at home, and has been known to wipe out a computer.
