Old Thriller Film ((1933?))?

Question

I am trying to find a old thriller film in which the owners of a house have a portrait of the house on the wall, they Find one day a dark Ghostly figure has appeared in the portrait.... as the days progress, the figure moves nearer the house.. they look at the portrait on the last day and the figure is on the door step.. they then hear knocking at their OWN front door... this was shown on tv ch4? in the 1980's and i have contacted the Bfi, Imdb, and ch4.. but still cant find it.. please help...... I read through all the twilight zone episodes seasons 1 - 5 from
1959-1964 What you describe isn't on any of the blips.
Just thought I would check for you.

Its an old Twilight Zone episode. It involved a nephew murdering his old ailing rich uncle and then burying him. The uncle kept showing up on the picture coming closer and closer to the house and finally knocked on the door.
