Depends on what you want / how you want it to look / and if you want it road durable or parked durable. AND what kind of siding is on it now.

If it is just parked, and you do not care about shine (like a car) use a house based gloss enamel (exterior) - this will NOT be very durable though, and won't work on some 'rust prevention' bodies. - road use will strip that paint off / ever seen a house after a F1 Type Tornado? (what do you think driving 65 MPH down the road (in a 20MPH headwind) is? - and that is without rock chips, etc.)

If you are driving it around then you should stay with one of the epoxy / gel coat / or clear coat finishes:
Epoxy does not have a good shine, but is VERY tough paint - not cheap either.
Gel Coat - well it is the same thing used on boats; prep work is key with that paint - good shine and very durable.
Clear Coat will cost you on color - base colors are cheap fancy colors are not - and there is some maint required for them.

Hope that helps (?)

I would use a good quality automotive , acrylic enamel. It is hard, glossy and very durable. Not cheap. Do not paint it Blue ! Paint it Electric Yellow ! With Purple Flowers and Weed Leaves !
Have fun ! It is a Recreational Vehicle, Right ?

I have painted the roof and the rear of my travel trailer with Hy-Tech sealer and HyTech roofing paint. This stuff is amazing as it cuts down on how hot the trailer gets when in the sun. It cuts noise a bit too.

I'm now having the inside of my house painted with the HyTech additive. hytechsales.com
I'd like to be a distributer so if you contact them, tell them rudyrabbit2003 in Arlington, VA sent 'ya.
