He has had a relationship online with several women before. We totally got off the computer for over a year or two. He recently started back online but said that he wasn't going to talk to younger women, only older women that he plays online pool with. I have found out that he is talking to several women his age on the messenger. Now these are women that he plays pool with, but he has them on his messenger. I have not seen anything being said that shouldn't be this time. The only thing is that when he is talking to them, it is hard for me and the kids to talk to him. Plus, he has now bought a headset with a mic and he uses it sometimes to talk to some of them. Everything is online, but I wonder if it is going to work it's way to a meeting, given time. For a while, the women had been in Canada or places far away. Now, there are women on there that live a State or two away. What do you think? Sound like a disaster in the making? If so, what are the odds that he would leave us?

He has changed his password on the Yahoo messenger from what he always used. But he does have it set up to log on when he gets on. I have been able to get on it and I have found that he has recently set it up so that he saves the conversations. I know that is how one if not both of his brothers got caught cheating online. They seem to forget about the saved bit.

I'd walk in while he's on the messenger with one of his friends and just watch the conversation over his shoulder. If he has nothing to hide, he won't mind. Simple.

My b/f has been suspicious about a man that I chat with and it's entirely harmless. So I let him watch the conversation before and that put his mind at rest.

First of all his staying or leaving should not be only his decision.
You may decide you want him to leave. That's o.k. too.

He loves the fantasy of the unknown. He also has some self esteem issues.
I believe he will, if he hasn't already test the waters.

If you want to really know what he is saying, you can buy software for about $100 that will record his every keystroke.
When he is not around, you can open th program and see every word he typed. Sound sleazy? So does Internet cheating!

Most men play poker or war games on the internet.

I bet if you check his history file you will find porn sites he has visited.

If you said to him, I'm going see younger men, just older men, how do you think he would react?

I am trying to plea sent, but my gut tells me he is a lying pig.(sorry)

Any women out there agree?

It could be a disaster waiting to happen, or it could be innocent. Most likely, since you've had a problem with it in the past, it's the first option. Do you know his password on messenger? If so, enable his message archives and keep tabs on him. As far as the odds of him leaving you.....probably not good because what man won't have his cake and eat it too? I would hope the odds of you leaving him are much higher (if he is cheating online)......

This guy has issues! Try to get him into marriage counselling.

He's straying -- it's only a matter of time before it moves to "in person" status.

Given the fact that he's had realtionships before, and that he puts on a headset, and the fact that he ignores his family are really bad signs.

He obviously feels he is missing something, so really try to get him to counselling if he won't talk to you about it... good luck.

When he seems giddy when you are around when he is using the computer, and he turns it off as soon as he hear you coming.

who can know?
what he does in his spare time may not mean he's heading for divorce.
it may simply mean he's craving adult company, albeit with a risk of flirtatious behaviour.
wait for unexplained absences.
