Some examples from my own brain:

Sinks designed to spray water toward the basin and out onto you.
The same sink placed at the crotch level of your average male.
Parking lots designed where the exits are one large blind spot.
Cell phones that almost guarantee you to hang up on someone when you grab them to answer them.
Automatic towel dispensers. Do these things EVER work?

My pet peeve is mostly poeple who discard their (used) chewing gum on the sidewalks. I really can't blame that innocent heap of clingy, stretchy stuff.
On a hot summer day, it sticks to my footwear, gathering with it, sand, stones, and other kinds of yukky things.
I think there aught to be a "two strikes" law, with the offender having (very yukky) chewing gum mixed with their head hair, under-arm hair, and chest hair, and pubic hair. Serves 'em right.
