Are you Marc G.? well I like your site but in all fairness to the dog you do not have, If you cannot afford to care for his medical(very expesive, and that ties in with all your website stuff) and feed him well and excersize him do not get one. I feel very sorry for you and many others who are only 1 step away from where you are.
( like me and my husband and 2 kids.) I will look at it further later.
Enjoy your day.

1999 called, they want their web design techniques back.

Animated GIFs look awful - they may be vaguely amusing for a couple of minutes, then the novelty of a sub-flick book quality animation wears off. Animated GIFs used on the wrong colour background, as you have, look especially bad. The e-mail animation at the top of the page should be removed - it's not clickable, so it serves no purpose, is confusing, and could be replaced with a "contact us" link that uses less of the valuable screen space. You are also using images at the wrong size, which causes heavy pixellation.

You appear to cover many topics on your front page - but there's no links to articles from the summaries. Also, the link titles such as "cool stuff" are too generic, plus the icon you use suggests "collection of cartoon scans I swiped off other sites", but actually means "syndicated articles of the day that don't work because the colours are wrong".
