It would be a physical paradox and the cat's feet and half the toast (along with the butter) would cancel each other out and disappear into the ether. Or explode. Either way, it gets a bit messy. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

Obviously you'd have a very good anti-gravity device, it would spin in the air and you could use several of them to move large heavy objects.
