IN H.P CPU,AT MOTHERBOARD WE CONNECT TWO POWER SUPPLY CORD FROM ATX POER SUPPLY .ONE HAVING MORE PINS AND CONNECTED NEAR TO THE HARDDISK CONNECTION WITH MOTHERBOARD AND OTHER IS SMALL ONE.WHEN WE CONNECT THE LESS PIN POWER CORD TO MOTHERBOARD AND IF WE TRY TO START THE SWITCH ON CPU.IT START BUT WITHIN 1 MINUTES IT AGAIN TURN OFF.PLEASE TELL ME THE POSSIBLE REMEDY.

You haven't mentioned the model of your motherboard.
The 4 pin connector provides core voltage to the processor. Read your motherboard's user's manual carefully and see if your motherboard requires a 20 pin or 24 pin power connector.

You have either Power supply problem, or CPU FAN problem. Check if your CPU FAN is working, if so, then you must check your Power Supply and even it may be motherboard problem!

ok you need to use power pack with the same amount of pins on it as the motherbord. thats why it keep restarting. so take the old one that came with the computer to a compter shop with you so you get the right one.

Remove your CPU and replace it properly. It might not sitting in slot properly then connect both cable securely. Then try it again

the CPU is getting off because the fan is not running. read on the Mother Board, you will get instructions on your borad where to plug for power, reset, leds and so on. please reffer manual if having.

Check your cooler ... it may not work.
Your system may generate an error if there is something.
