With all do respect:

I know that Middle Eastern / Arabic people who follow the Islam faith (Muslims) do not eat pork because I think pigs are considered "dirty."

However, how about the Middle Eastern Christians? Do they eat pork? If not, why not? I'm just curious....

Thank you.

Just a guess: I'd suppose they would abstain from pork, because it's socially unacceptable in the Middle East. Considering how violent some of their neighbors could be, they would try to avoid angering them.

It's ok for them to eat pork, but since they live in the Middle East where the majority of population is muslim, they can't find pork at butchers or supermarkets.
