Because, you donot know clearly about the subject you deal with. If you have understood you subject of interest, then understanding mathematics is not a problem.

i think the first thing you should do is talk to your teacher and parents. but if you can't handle to cope with the subject and you think you aren't able, have a chat with your parents. if you still wanna try with it, then let your teacher give you some advice. i don't think anyone can help other than yourself and your teacher. put your best foot forward and good luck.

Get yourself some apples.
Take 2 apples and put them on one side, take 5 apples and put them on the other side and count them all. You just added. keep doing it with different amouts of apples and you'll be on your way.
