Being in the book business, I can verify that there is no onsale-date/publishing date for this book as yet. The date 07/07/07 is a rumor only at this time.
Today’s (26 June 06) City Paper quotes J.K Rowling herself as stating:"I am feeling sad as it is the last one. But so far, so good." But when pressed on when the book would be ready for publication would only say "I'm doing well I think. You can never really tell till you get near the end. I am not quite there yet."

the next one out is summer 2007 i love the books you cant put them down the last one was ace i have read them all so many times i could tell u the story and when the films come out there bril when the new book comes out i will be getting my copy straight away i want to know what happens to harry and if he defeats voldermort.hopefully this one will be more gripping exictin g and a no1 smash

When JK finishes writing it and then it is through the publishers
although I cant wait for the last book, it will be ashame to see the end of the story

I think J K Rowling is writing the book I'm sure as soon as its finished it would be nice if it was christmastime
