URL stands for uniform resource locator - actually, URLs as we know them are just a mnemonic device to make it easier for people to find websites.

each website has its own address which is in the form of a number (IP address) but because numbers are much more difficult to remember, they are mapped to addresses such as
www.yahoo.com instead...

a hyperlink is a piece of clickable text or a graphic button that will take you to a particular web site (URL)...

this is a hyperlink and a URL:

http://www.yahoo.com

but when it appears in your nav bar, it is no longer clickable and is therefore no longer a hyperlink...

A hyperlink is a shortcut to that address

URL is pointer to a website or major portion(virtual directory or sub domain) of it.

Hyperlink can be URL or more in general it can point to any part of content on webserver( assuming Webserver administrator allowed users to browse).
Forinstance, any part of webpage.
