Whatsonstage.com is always an excellent website to look at for a good deal on ticket prices. At the moment there doesn't appear to be any offers on the Lion King but keep checking.

Here's a link to some of the current offers...

The website also has user reviews for every show, here's what people have said about the Lion king...

Try the half price ticket booth in Leicester Square. The one by the actual gardens NOT the numerous places around the area first.

There are some other places offering discount tickets in the area. Check 1. Face value. 2. booking fee. 3. location of seats.
Always try the theatre first, on the day for returns.

Remember: Stalls is ground floor, Circle or Dress Circle is the first balcony. Upper Circle is the second (very top). There are boxes. Most look straight on to the side of the stage and have a restricted view. Sometimes online agencies such as Ticketmaster may offer discounted tickets on behalf of the Theatre.

If you cannot get three tickets together, may have to take a pair and a single.

Ebay is a good source for tickets, but if you want to buy from more official and reliable areas, then lastminute.com often have offers on for theatres and dinners (a bundle package as it were). I used them once to go and see The Woman in Black, and the price was not bad at all.

lastminute.co.uk always has good price seats.

The advice about Leicester Square is good at the TKTS desk. only go to that one and get there at 10am when they open. You will get the best cheapest seats at this time. They are only allowed to sell discount tickets for the same day performances as the day goes on they will get more expensive.

In the Piccadilly Circus tube station there are several ticket outlets where you will be able to buy discounted tickets.

The shows are listed on the right side of the screen.
