Mission Impossible III, because of the cool stuff like bombs blowing in the brain, lot of blasts, and I like all the MI series, its better than a Bond movie.

Hello ! My favourite movie of all time has to be Legend: staring Tom Cruise, Music by Tangerine Dream:
There were two movies made with diffrent sound tracks, i prefer the first one, it had more of a spiritual inpacked on me.
The reason why i love this movie:
At the time when this movie came out i was going through alot of internal struggle with the mistakes id made, through being young and nieve, and my struggle was how could i put my wrongs to rights. Basicaly i was guilt ridden, and this film totaly turned it around for me helping me realise that if i changed my attitudes towards life and understand that things happen for a reason, i realised that all things i thought i did wrong could be put right, to me it was a revalation, and all things are forgiven, especialy from within. It gave hope, and set me free. ( There is a lot more i could say but i don't want to bore you, but thank's for a blinding question. ) kimzie

Well my fav fav it's Billy Elliot. For me it's a piece of art, I mean, the final jump (when Billy is performing The Swans Lake) it's amazing, perfect, that's what makes the movie great, besides it has a different theme, not a common one (well, here in America was something out of normality considering that we have all those American- Explosion films xD).
And the other one I really enjoy it's Bridget Jones Diary, it has something, I don't know what, but it has. Everytime I watch it I laugh, I never get tired of the things that happen to Bridget, and everytime I watch the final, or all those romantic scenes (with Mark Darcy) I enjoy them as if it was the first time I see them.

"Fandango" Great movie that I have not seen in years!! I may have to revise this answer if I see it again!! Its a road movie, its funny, the soundtrack is great. It was made when speilberg saw a 10 min short from an LA college student & said he'd fund the making! (cool for that dude!). If i tell you the cast it will appear on paper to be shite.... judd nelson & kevin costner are in it, don't know the names of the others. Ignore those names and watch it if you can, but i can never get it on vid or dvd!! Good luck (other than that "12 angry men" "cool hand luke" "team america")

My favorite movie has got to be "Salem's Lot" (the original one). This one is my favorite because it was the first "Scary" movie that my sister and I ever watched. To this day whenever me and my sister watch this movie (we are now in our 30's and live on different sides of the world) we both call each other so we can watch it at the same time. We call each other periodically throughout the movie and when we go to bed there seems to be a tree or it seem to be very windy and things hit up against our windows and scares the crap out of us, so we end up calling each other in the middle of the night laughing. So I guess I like the particular movie because it keeps me and my sister in touch, and the fact that my kids think that the film is ancient and out of date and boring, they stay up to watch it with me. Gotta love Stephen King.

'Life is Beautiful' I love this movie essentially because it is the only movie based on the holocaust that has such a strong note of positivity in it in such a depressing scenario. Roberto Benigni is fabulous in it both as a performer and also as a director.
The movie has a gentle humour, a very strong sense of how a child's innocence is important and should be protected, and also because it is very mood elevating without trying to be a perfect fairy tale.
Every time I watch it, I feel great, more charged up & positive.
If you haven't seen it do catch it, it's an absolute delight.

The Lord of the Rings. Watch all three together. Simply amazing. Plus I waited thirty years for someone to make the book into a movie.

Analyze This...because I'm a De Niro fan and it's the only movie where De Niro and comedy work really well. It's also quite moving as well as funny.
I must have watched it 10 times at least. XD

Columbus (acted by gerard depardieu)
It`s a story of a man who did something he believed in, and succeeded. The carrectors are interesting, and the sceneries breathtaking.
The final comment on the movie is one of the bests: Columbus asks what does the queens suspicious and jellous some royal man think about the cityview in Spain they are at.
The dude brags:" buildings reaching the sky...civilication...pla pla pla..."
Columbus says:"people like me did it. no matter you lived 200 years, one thing never changes between us: I did it, you did`nt."

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
Funny, fun with great songs, a strange storyline and good acting.
I still love to watch this film even tho I know all the words, songs & actions by heart.
It always makes me feel happy & I still laugh at bits of it.
I've also got loads of good memories from when I see the stageplay at the theatre.
