roger clemens. the rocket. hes the best active pitcher all-time, and current, even though he hasnt pitched a major league game yet this year. by the end of the year he'll prove hes still the best. the best reliever is jonathon papelbon

Schilling is good but he's not the pitcher he used to be (is he even the best pitcher on the Red Sox?). I think even he would admit the Twins' Johan Santana has better stuff. Santana is the best pitcher right now.

I think among active pitchers you'd have to say Pedro Martinez and Roger Clemens have put together the best careers.

ROY OSWALT innings eater, brings the heat, back-to-back 20 wins, lots of srikeouts, few walks, I know he's young, but mark my words.....One of the most underated pitchers!
