I have a prom coming up soon, but first I need to go to a friend's house because that's where the limo is picking us up from, she doesn't live very far probably 15 minutes from my house, so I am going to walk to her house but I am worried people will look at me because I am all dressed up!! It can be quite embarassing sometimes! and I get embarassed very easily! What can I do?!! I don't want to dress up at her place!!

Another thing to think about is that if you walk ove you may perspire (ruin the outfit and smell?) and walking 15 mins in heels is gonna hurt and risk twisting your ankle. Get a lift/ taxi or get changed at your friends place. Anyway you'll look great. Those looks will be jealousy!

Wouldn't it be better to get yourself ready as much as possible ...hair...make up....and other basics and just carry your dress and shoes etc you will wear to the prom and quickly change in the bathroom at your friends house...I am sure it would be free for five minutes for you to slip into your dress etc.and repair make up etc..and you are done.....
That way you wont be embarrassed walking there and will only need a few minutes to get changed...that's what I would do..

I'm sure you will look fantastic!!!! and be proud of it, walk to her house with your head held high and smile at all the people that look at you because it is because you look stunning that they are looking. Take a brother or sister, mother or father with you for the walk if it gives you more confidence and plus they will love the reactions from other people too because they will be proud to be seen with you...
Have fun however you decide to get there.

DO walk to her house if the weather will be dry and mild and not too windy. Great way to start. Do NOT feel embarrassed - go with your head high and a swing in your step. Lap up the attention from passing drivers etc. But maybe leave the make up till you get to her pad.

im sorry to say this girl well the only way is to get dress at her place..maybe u wanna look more special than her,you could call up a makeup artist or stylist to do the makeover at her place for yourself on that day or maybe sign for a girlfrens package where both you and your friend can get the makeover done by them.
i did this for my prom..me and my best friend..

Place a black plastic bin liner over your head and allow someone else to lead you through the streets to your friends house. If this really is a problem for you then the best solution would be for someone to hold the bin liner tightly over your head until you expire.

walk to ur friends house a while b4 hand in normal clothes then get dressed there. i had the same problem and that helped me sy cant be more help enjoy ur prom nite

if i was you i would get a ride from someone else because if you dont by the time you get to your friends house you will be all sweaty and icky, so if you walk then your gonna have to get all dolled up again at your friends house
