Gangrene is death of a part of human body like gangrene of leg,hand,intestine etc.It is caused by "heavy smoking",,diabetes ,strangulated hernia and some other causes.It is treated by surgically removing the part,and treating the cause.

yup. It can be deadly if its not treated in timem and blood poisoning can result from it, too.

yes, it is the result of an untreated infection
