Trumpet Voluntary by J Clarke on the way to the altar and an amazing piece, widor's Toccatta on the way back, they are both exceptional pieces and not overly religious, but acceptable in church. Another good one to walk down the aisle ( a personal favourite) is the Pachebel cannon, stunning stuff!

I will always wish that I had been able to get hold of 'Kites' by Ultraviolet. The words are so sweet and it has a great beat but lots of strings also.

"I will fly a yellow paper sun in your sky,
When the wind is high, when the wind is high,
I will float a silken silver moon near your window
If your night is dark, If your night is dark.

In letters of gold on a snow white kite,
I will write......... I love you
And send it soaring high above you
For all to read.

And so on....."

So beautifully sung, with choir boys singing in the background. It would sound just fantastic for a wedding and I will kick myself for ever for not being able to get hold of a copy in time! :(

Happiness to you both for ever!

My friend walked down the aisle to When I Fall In Love last weekend. It was beautiful.

How about Ravel's Bolero? (yep, the same one used in the movie "10" with Dudley Moore and Bo Derreck). It's romantic, it's sensual and it's great for an "adult" wedding ;-) I walked down the aisle to it and it was so perfect! (I was 32 when I married).

"Sex Machine" by James Brown. You'll have to alter your step though.

One bride requested the theme from Robin Hood. She had in mind the sting/bryan adams/whoever else version from the Kevin Costner film. Someone pulled out the music from the old Errol Flynn version (Robin Hood, Robin Hood, and his merry men!)

Adagio For Strings... Beautiful piece of music. You can have it played by anything from a CD, to a string quartet or a full orchestra...

Congratulations on your wedding.
Hope you have a happy future together. :o)
