You can also try snopes.com and you should be able to find some interesting, true stories and events that are sometimes labeled as urban legends or myths. Each topic is labeled as true or false and is color-coded as such, so just read through and find a true one that sounds as if it should be too outlandish to be true.

Then of course, you can just search around for some "weird news" sites, or try the other ones suggested here.

I don't know of a site that has stories like this, but I enjoy them to. You should just keep an eye out in newspapers, yahoo! news, and msn today. Especially msn today, because they have a section devoted to crazy stories. Enjoy!
