I appreciate these answers...but just to add.......... I can't meet him in person first.........because if he CAN make it to me..... it will be a forever commitment, and he can not go back to his home.

See, the points you have given is enough to be in love, although u haven't be in person. But the thing comes is how can you trust each other. How can you say the everything s/he is sharing is all true. At the same time I have a point against mine that even if you meet a guy/girl in person and you know only whatever s/he says, are the similar condition. What I'll say in this condition is that you love each other, it's good, but if you're planning to get married, you must meet each other and visit each others place, family and friends. Spend some time before any commitments.
In some cases I found that when people opens heart for someone, s/he close his/her mind. So, I'll suggest you to open ur mind too. Wish you ALL THE VERY BEST.

I do believe that you can build a relationship. But to say fall in love, No, I don't think that is possible. I say this only because to say you know someone well enough to love them but you have never met them is not possible. If you have never met someone in person and got to know this person face to face how well do you really know them? The only thing you really know about this person is what he/she tells you. Thats it. They can tell you all day and night how nice of a person they are. How much money they have. They can tell you they are the president of a bank or a college professor whatever they want. You will have no way of knowing. Tis person going the other way could be a mass murderer. You really have no way of knowing. But if you have fallen in love I wish you the best in your relationship. You might just have a very good friend on line and you don't know the difference. You never really know someone till you have met them in person. He could be a really talented writer, but picks his nose in public, look like a hunchback with warts, or be a real player in person. It's nice to have a good connection on line, but your really on line as a precursor to meeting someone right?

Sort of. The problem wtth online communication is that people can filter. They can think about what to say, and how best to say it without body language giving them away.
I actually met my fiance online and we're deliriously happy, so I'm not trying to say that I'm anti-online meetings. I liked the chance to get to know him online before we met in person, but I moved to a coffee meeting very quickly so that I could see how we got along together with in-person chemistry. I think that's important, too.
