I started a residential services company 9 months ago to supplement my Emergency Medical Technician pay. I grossly underestimated the market response. I am now on a leave of absence from EMS to expand or cease operations in this market. I advertise heavily in printed yellowpages and website optimization. Between the two I projected $10k per month. When the yellowpage ads hit last month I had to stop answering the phone. With minor upgrades cash flow could be $25k or more as Hurricane Season on the Gulf Coast started June 01 and rebuilding from last years storms barley underway I cannot do this by myself anymore. I need a partner, silent or otherwise and $50k in capital by July 31or I will cease doing business and resume a less stressful EMS career. I do not have time for a conventional loan. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I promise not to waste your time as long as you dont waste mine. I'm open to suggestions

contact your local Chamber of commerce, or do a Internet search for SCORE in your area, they can help you with a prospectus for a loan or sometimes, put you in contact with a personal loan.

i would get the money yourself and then you can hire an employee or independent contractor and keep the profits yourself instead of dishing out a partners share. the loan you would need is easy to obtain if you have decent credit, or you have a car or home to put up as collateral. write up a business plan and contact your local small business administration for questions and help.

10-15K is not a lot of money. Have you tried for a small business loan through the SBA in your state?

You may want to post an ad in the job section of http://www.craigslist.org ... make sure you post in the state closest to you.
