EGO: If we could all take the 'I' out of our conversations and listen to someone Else's problems or share their happiness, EGO would be put away and there would be no competition as to who can shout the loudest!

Because everything...okay most of what is talked about is based on OPINION. There are no rights and wrongs. They are all opinions, everyone will be different. And the other point is they don't HAVE to agree...so they don't. Besides it's much more interesting and complicated when we don't agree.

Closed minds. I think you should have an open mind about everything, just not so open your brains fall out. Some people argue because they enjoy it, they like the conflict. Mark Twain was like that. I like to have discussions, but if someone starts to argue with me, I just ignore them. They are just trying to bully me into accepting their position, instead of explaining why I should agree with it.

Because it is human nature if everyone agreed all the time the world would not be so advanced as it is .Also those politicians wouldn't be able to act like schoolkids.

also, they look at things from their points of view, so in a way, they are also correct - 'from their points of view' only
