Is it difficult to get an agent in LA or NY?

It is difficult to get a GOOD agent in NYC. Even experienced actors have to work hard to get an agent. If you're not apart of the union and have no professional experience your chances are pretty slim.

I suggest working for yourself a bit and get experience. Use web sites like www.breakdownexpress.com to find auditions.
