It will still be very hot in October. General rule of thumb (although there are always exceptions), if the hotel/apartment pool is open, it is generally warm enough to swim. (your travel agent or brochure should give you details) They don't keep pools open if they are not going to be used, esp. due to the weather being cooler...reason being that they have to pay lifeguards/pool cleaners and they won't do that unless they have to.

Not only in swimming pool but in the sea as well. The weather is beautifull normally this time of the year in Rhodes.

Yes, in fact should be warm enough to swim in the sea. Been many times myself in October. Oh and have a good time.

I hope so as I'm going to Rhodes in October too.
I was at Zakynthos last year in October and the sea was lovely and warm, as was the weather. 3 years ago we were in Crete at the same time and it was beautiful.

Yeah the weather will still be great in October. I went to Zante in October and you couldnt keep me out of the sea it was that warm! Enjoy your hols.
