I have tried: Piz Buin, Clinique, Various tanning Wipes, Loreal, Fake Bake.
What fake tanners do the stars such as Eva Longoria / Jennifer Lopez use to get their extra brown skin? I am naturally of olive complextion.
Can anybody help me please?

Because of my natural olive skintone i find it hard to find a self tanner which shows up any different. Some make no difference whatsoever! It just looks like my natural colour. Which is very annoying!

I use Beyond Bronze by Fake Bake. Its very good, has a rose scent to it so you dont have that obvious fake tan smell. Yeah okay, its a tad messy when applying, but its worth it! Out of all the 'quality' brands this one is the business, gives good coverage and does not have that orange tinge associated with some fake tans and a little goes a long way. I'm a red head and after 2 nights application its the most natural looking tan I've had compared to the rest and that includes St Tropez. I only have to re-apply once a week after a light buffing to keep it. Superdrug are at the moment selling it at half price but even so its well worth it!

St.tropez and fake bake are good but quite expensive. Sunjunkie, Xen, I use St.moritz its only £3, i use the mouse one but it does come in lotion and spray, doesn't streak, goes darker the more you apply it, so if you don't want it too dark you can just put one layer. I think it's just as good as all the others without the price tag. Rimmel has a good one which cost about £5 if you just want it for the day, however it's wash off, so as long as you don't get wet it's fine

Fake Bake shouldnt go orange.....celebs use that, and of course St Tropez isd a classic.
Make sure your not using anything on your skin that may be reacting with the tan.
This includes moisturisers, body spray and perfumes can make it go orange, shower gels and even washing powder!
As a general rule, only use moisturiser that is the same brand i.e fake bake and st tropez, and avoid shower gels with fruits in them orange shower gel for example.
Yes it sucks, i have a £30+ tub of Elemis lime n ginger salt scrub at home collecting dust, but if i use that it would strip my tan straight off!

Try Johnson's Holiday Skin - it is a body lotion that you put on every day and after 2 days you start noticing the difference with no streaking or smell - it's fantastic and comes in dark or light also for your face. I tried the dark one first which was a bit hectic so am onto the lighter one now.

I have tried Tesco's Finest self tan. It's pretty good. Like most of them though, it does smell a bit metallic as the tan develops. Liz Earle does a plant based one which doesn't whiff apparently. Her stuff is available on QVC 0800 50 40 30 or QVCUK.com
Enjoy. :))

Johnsons holiday tan, this is a build up tan that contains moisteriser, we use it everyday and it gradually builds up a light even real looking tan. This is great stuff, i have very pale skin and it works for me :D Hope this helps
