are you talking about ecological value or how much you can sell them for? I do not know of a market for them as they are common but the rare types may get some limited interest but remember rare types are probably protected.
ecologically some species are useful to gardeners as predators of aphids but not as beneficial as some claim. as a food source they are bitter tasting so birds avoid them. the population is pretty small compared to other insects so they have little impact on the ecosystem

They can eat aphids which are harmful to plants. (Ants also such the sweet secretion by aphids and in turn protect them from danger.) This method also does not need pesticide so in a way, ladybugs help the environment. Therefore, they are ecologically important.

ladybugs? Cuz they look prettier, they are i assume extra friendly like butterflies. They eat aphids. - some ppl truly purchase ladybugs from shops like domicile depot and launch them of their backyard/backyard. different bugs and stuff are seen annoying and nasty. flies, snails, cocroaches, some ppl dont like those rollie-pollies..stuff like that.
