Ok she calling him daddy is ok but sitting on dads lap is not. Cuddling and kissing i think you need to have some serious talk with your wife. There is something wrong in this picture. Try also to talk to the daddy too and see what information you can get out of him.

Sounds pretty unreasonable to me. I guess think about how it would be in the opposite. Like she doesn't like the way you chew anymore so you need to leave. Sounds like there is a lot more going on here. I guess being a woman I too would become enraged. If not more than that. Good luck. It will probably cost you more than an apartment in the long run. If you are so unhappy, get your own apartment.

Why does it bother you...?
She's close to her dad and she has a place she can go and be childish...everyone needs to let the child in us out at some point.
Be thankful she's so close to her father...
I bet you'll wish your daughter behaves in the same manner once you have kids.
To answer your questions...no she's not too old to act like this...
but yeah you're being unreasonable because your putting your values and behavior on her...
it's normal for her.
Because it's not normal for you doesn't make her wrong.
Good luck...get to know your in-laws....they must have been decent parents.

To be honest, I find this behavior quite strange... I moved to Alabama from Ohio a few years ago and it is So common here. Almost every grown girl/woman calls their fathers, Daddy.
To each their own, I suppose. It is just how she was raised.
I stopped that when I was around 7 or 8 maybe, but that was just me.
As long as noone is being hurt or upset, I wouldn't worry about it.

Calling him Daddy is okay. Sitting on his lap at age 30 is not normal in my book.

It appears to me your wife is just kidding somewhat and they both enjoy each others company. I see nothing wrong with that if it's just a minute or two. Calling your father daddy is very common depending on where you were raised. My daughter calls me daddy and she's 25. It's a sign of affection is all. It appears to me that you may have some hidden jealousy issues.

That is so not normal. U are not being unreasonable. Ur wife needs to grow up and stop leaning on daddy. If you have children what kind of example is this setting them.

Calling her father "daddy" is alright, but the sitting on the lap thing gotz to go. I'm surprise the old lady not saying anything. If I see my girlfriend sit on her old mans lap, I'm be like "what the?" Maybe you should go sit on your mom lap and see what see said.

Dude,
However old your wife might be, She is still her dads child.Well the way she expresses her feelings for her dad shows that she is very close to him and i think you should stay out of it.
Ur not being unreasonable,ur just jealous.U seem to be saying to urself, she is mine and she has to do everything to please me,she has to only sit on my lap and blah blah blah !!! get one thing straight, she is ur wife and not ur property.
If she is sitting on ur friends lap ,then there is a problem there. Not if she is sitting on her fathers lap.
My advice to you, Live and let live. And if that is hard to digest,Go get a life !!!!

She might have some issues with growing up. It may simply be a game they play. I'd bet they didn't have a close relationship when she was very young so as she got older and they got closer they have overcompensated for their earlier distance.
I wouldn't worry about it. Try to find the cuteness of it or at least try to ignore it.
