Argh!! I just keep doing displacement activities: making coffee, answering questions, putting CDs on, moving stuff around on my desk, making lists, peeing, adjusting the volume of said CDs. Why can't I just GET ON WITH STUFF????

Maybe you have other issues on your mind, are you going through some sort of change lately?
Or perhaps you have adult adhd. I have a small portion of adhd, and this sort of thing happens to me a lot. here are some signs of it
1. you constantly have changing thoughts
2. you tend to get hyper easily
3. you always have 20 things to do
if you said yes to these you may want to talk to your doctor. You can get meds, or even just learn to cope with it!

Maybe, you find it dull??? It's a little stupid, but try to find the positive things about your work! Buy yourself something you like when you finish the work - like an award! It helps! Good luck!
