They are not like termites they look llike ants and they swarm the outside of the house like around the outside light and only come out at night.

Could be termites, not sure. I don't have a clue on how to get rid of them with something that is homemade.

If these bugs only come around say, once a year, then they are ants. Take some all purpose cleaner or dish soap, mix it with some waters and just pour or spray it on them. Gets em every time.

YOU'VE GOT TERMITES
For now - you must find where they came from - You must search HARD and fast. Use a poker and poke around bottum of closets and doors and base moldings and nightstands.
You might find a thin wall of paint covering a totally eaten out board.
Mix some water and bleach and spray it into and above the eaten areas.
Or take a tip and get your house tented and put spikes all around your foundation - outside....

termites. call an exterminator have them checked out. could be doing damage to the property
