I was a stripper for 4 years and I loved it. I made good friends with some of the customers that came in there. I made good money, and I loved what it did for my self esteem. If you liked doing it, and had fun...I say go for it. You definately want to talk to him though, but let him know how you felt about it when you were there before.
The only reason I'm not doing it anymore is because my back will no longer let me.
I had to put up with alot of "behind the scenes" bull crap where I worked, and that was one of cons to working there. Don't go back just for the money. You have to WANT to go back.
Also, don't let people bring you down by calling you bad names. Just because you are stripping does not mean you are sleeping around. I have been married for 6 years. My husband never minded me working there, and I never cheated on him. Now we have money in the bank, and we are doing fine.
As long as you save the money and dont blow it when you get it, I think you will o.k. as well.
It's up to you though. Only you know how you feel. Good Luck!!

My ex (long time ago) was a stripper...I would have to submit this much...yes it's easy money. But the lifestyle you end up developing is not conducive to a healthy relationship nor an emotionally healthy life. The friends you attract because of your work and the repercussions of discovery of your line of work...in the end...just don't make it worth while.
And as much as she made, she never invested for the long term...so today she's still as broke as she ever was...still with the same group of loser friends...most of them male hoping for a "chance" ... only now she's 38, three kids from three different fathers, no education and no work experience...lives in a trailer...no life...always sad and regretful.
my advice...get your GED, go to community college, find a suitable line of work and move forward rather than keeping yourself down...it just seems to get worse as you get older.

i don't think you should go back to stripping and i don't think he'll like it, too either. he's already back for you and can already helped you for the bills but hopefully as early as posible, try to prepare on things so that you'll not go back on stripping anytime, esp if you'll going to have problems with your bf and you shouldn't stick on your mind that your bf is the only reason why you don't have too so do something to avoid going back on stripping like saving money and find a job that will suit your needs.

Only if it is something that you truley want to do, if not, is it that bad that you need to do that for money?
It's your body anyway, you should be able to do what you want to do without your boyfriends permission, but discussing it with him is a good idea.

It looks like a viable option to increase your cash flow. Just take him along as a chaperon so he doesn't get jealous.

well stripping is not prostitution. Ask him if he's ok about it. It's just a job.
