There is no limit to the amount of cigarettes you can carry. However, you will have to pay tax on all after the first 200.

Re maximum weight of your luggage. It depends on which class of travel you have booked, and please note that- BA are changing the baggage allowances soon and so it depends on when you travel. If you booked online then the baggage allowances are on your e-ticket, otherwise you should check the BA website here http://www.britishairways.com/travel/bagpolicy/public/en_gb .

you can carry a carton or 200 cigarettes per person.
