I think about death. Mortal thoughts are normal especially if you have had a recent death in your family or friends. I have. I have also been to more funerals tan I care to remember. But you seem to be saying you are killing people in your thoughts. I don't do that. I don't imagine what they will look like either. I have seen dead people, not like the movie, but; dead, and; it is nothing you care to imagine. Perhaps you should read Mortal Questions by Thomas Nagel. Afterall this is a philosophy section. That is one of the few books on the subject.

Yes, I do. I've done it with everyone; mom, dad, dog, cat. I know one feels exceptionally guilty eventually, but there's nothing that we can do about it. Atleast with me, the thought just strikes me and refuses to let go. I've even dreamt about what my reaction would be if my relatives were to die. I don't think you need to worry as long as it doesn't trouble you emotionally. Otherwise go see a doc.

Yeah unfortunately I have also imagined some of my loved ones dead. Its something I totally dont want; but it just comes to my mind for no reason. I know its freaky, but I dont think there's nothing we can do about it.

I think I do that more than normal or something. Just out of nowhere ideas will pop into my head about my husband dying or my mom and how awful that would be to not have them around. Sometimes I'm afraid that I'm having "visions" or something and I have to call them to assure myself that they're alright. It sucks. I hope it's normal because if not, I really need to be committed.

Just about everybody close to me has already died. So i don't need to imagine it anymore. Be thankful you still can.

Its not about the dead person but how it will affect you and what will you do and how will you resond.Sometimes they can play out badly. And you are left with the thought "what am I going to do now?"Normal to have the thought, unhealthy to obsess on it.
