Don't prolong use of disposable contact lenses. Debris builds up on the lenses which can cause infections, scratches etc. Disposable are made to be thrown out after a specific time frame because of what they're made of, they will start to break down.
I work in an optometrist. Trust me, if you prolong the use of contact lenses, it will do you more damage than good.
Try wearing your glasses when you're at home

It is possible because I know of some friends who do but it is still best not to prolong it so much because remember the eyes is a very sensitive area. You would not want your contacts gathering dirt and grime which may cause infection sooner or later. :)

yeah only put them on when you absolutely need to see lol or instead get glasses and wear the contacts when you go out then they last longer but alternating between them requires some getting used to, trust me it's two different feelings. but you should never over use your contacts...after the perscription runs out, they tend to become frail and can tear easily while applying to eye sometimes even while in the eye, and plus you risk infecting your eye.

You aren't supposed to, but my husband does. And he's ok. Every once in a while, he says they cloud over and he will take them out at night before bed and let them soak and then put them back in in the morning.

you know, mine are supposed to work three weeks, but they really last about 5 weeks. Just use them until they start falling out or bothering your eyes.
