Why when you try to write a question in all caps it says that it is rude? I'm just trying to get attention and not have everyone pass my question over becasue you do loose 5 points everytime you write a question. I think that it is rude when people DON'T answer you.

I don't think that Capitilizing anything is rude. I guess in the cyber world its considered aggressive or angry, yelling. I dunno. I use Caps to make a point, or I forgot to take caps off b/c I look at the keyboard when I type not realizing..............

All caps is considered yelling. Thats why people will say it is rude. I know you aren't trying to come off like you are yelling, but if you use all caps you will just draw negative attention to your question instead of positive attention. I like to read in all caps cause it is easier for me to see. You don't loose 5 points you use 5 points and hopefully its for a sincere question that you want an answer for. Sometimes I answer questions with a humorous answer just cause its funny and sometimes when I get answers its fun just to see what strikes people when they see my questions

I don't think it is rude when people don't answer. I think it is rude to answer questions you are not interested or don't know the right answer or copy another answer just to get the points.
When you type in all caps, it is suppose to reflect that you are yelling.

The first time I had heard that was in the chat rooms. people would think you were yelling at them when you wrote in all caps.

that's because you're trying to get attention and not have everyone pass your question over. every question is answered sometime, but unless it's meaningless and breaking the rules of yahoo answers when people don't bother with you. like your last question.

Capital letters always comes across as shouting when written, and reading it. Extra emphasis is normally itallics.
People can only answer your question if they have an answer. Be patient.

Typing in all caps is synonymous with yelling.
