I used to be a Kings fan when Webber joined the team back in '98. I followed them until they traded Cwebb and now I'm a 76ers fan. See, I go where Cwebb goes. I've been a fan of his since he was with Golden State. Anyway, the Kings made a good run this year in the playoffs. They played great against the Spurs and I thought they had a chance to win after tying the series 2-2 but they eventually lost 2-4.
I watched that series and I noticed Bonzi Wells played real well and so did Ron Artest. They're big, strong players who can take it to the hole. K-Mart is going to get better but he needs to bulk up because his upper body strength is weak. Overall, their starting 5 is good. You've got Brad Miller who will give you points, assists and rebounds sort of like what Cwebb did. Then you've got Mike Bibby who's one of the most clutch PGs in the league. The bench is good and with the arrival of a new coach, the Kings seem to want to focus more on defense and that might help this team get over the hump.

They Kings need a better power foward and maybe a better center. Kenny Thomas and Brad Miller are not putting up points for the Kings. More bench scoring. Bibby is great, Wells was on fire and shooting all over the Spurs, and Artest got defense and even was shuting down Ginboli. They just need a few more things and they will be okay and back at the top.

They will get the elite team back next season, they got a late start last season because of the acquire of Ron Artest. he was a little late to the kings

Bring in another big man to take the lost spot of Webber, and possibly some depth at F/C and G. They basically need a solid starter at PF and depth at all other position.

They need a better bench. Their bench hardly has any decent players on it.
