the Bible teaches that he was lonely and enjoyed talking to Adam and Eve in the cool of the evening. He created us to praise and worship him which appears to have fallen away. Remember the ark that was to purge humans the rains fall...they can prove this happen archaelogically even in history of non believers. Then God made the symbol that he would never wipe mankind off the face of the earth by rain?
I'm not sure what your going for. But according to the near life experience books on christianity I've read when people die they experience this being of total love. Of love so encompassing that it completes them. In fact most are sad they came back from this. Imagine a being rejoicing in the light, the spirit, the beauty, the grace, the fellowship of pure spirts of saints and the power of a trillion waterfalls and suns now wouldn't you want to spend an eternity with that?

gnani, maybe God was bored too.
Think about it. He makes two humans and just to make things interesting puts a tree in the middle of the garden and tells them not to eat the fruit. And just like all children, they do just what they were not supposed to do.
God had been a parent to all animals. He must've known. But I bet he said, let's have some fun. Let's make some kids and see whether they listen to me or not.
Guess, when there wasn't even the Pope on the phone, God must have been really, really bored.

You are assuming a definition of "God" that we may not all agree on.
I have to believe I'm here to learn and grow from my experiences. It's the only way that I can deal with some of the things I've been through in this life. If I succeed in learning and growing spiritually, I can go on to another plane of existence.

let us leave god out of this...we are here. The question 'why' arises if your are really bored of what you are doing. Otherwise it wont arise. If you like really what you are doing...whatever it may...dancing...reading...or just sitting idle..then enjoy it...because that is why we are here...we are making ourself comfortable...otherwise there is no meaning in life...once we are born then the next second we have to die...only we made life beautiful...live it.

we are here to follow Gods' laws , which are found in the bible, to tell everyone Jesus' story of how he died on the cross to atone for the sins he knew you would commit long before you were born (see psalm 139) and to glorify him with our faith in him.
