There are a lot of programs that are not good on tv but there are also a lot of beneficial ones. Parents should know what to allow and what not to allow. T.V. is not the problem, bad parenting is. My dad allowed me to watch things when I was a kid but he was always there a censor to talk to me about what I saw not deprive me of it. If it's making them lazy then you can always take it away from them.
