Yes. However, it does get crowded. There are bathroom lines (because some just drink too much.) And of the seats I usually get you have to walk what seems forever. But if you look past all of this, get to your seat with patience, peanuts and a sprite, you will throughly enjoy yourself. Be sure to get a bit to eat before the game though. The cost of snacks is outrageous. Well at least for me, especially if I take my brood (kids). There are those that can get obnoxious in the stands but if you stay out of their way you will do fine. And there are those that are super people and very polite in the stands. After the game, take a stroll in the very cutsie neighberly (I don't think I spelled that correctly) neighborhood, but watch out for those street vendors. I always found that it is better to go to the game with someone I know know.

I'll never forget the first and only appearance by myself in to Wrigley Field. It was the summer of 1990 and I was going with my then girlfriend (now wife) on a Great Lakes driving tour. The rule wa that for every ball park we would see, we would have to go to a museum or similar. We went to Toronto, Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Comiskey, and Milkwaukee before returning to Chigago for Wrigley.I knew it needed to be the last stop.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, taking the El after going to church. Talk about seeing a cathedral after going to one to pray. Let me tell you, it was something. I had worked on this trip for many months in advnace, so we had tickets inthe first row of the upper deck, right behind home plate and just below Harry Carey. We did not see the expanse of the field until we walked into the stairway to go down to our seats. The first thing my wife said to me was, "Now I understand why you like baseball so much. This is unbelievable.

The game was played between the Braves (who were a year away from showing signs of their run of consistant regular season prowess) and of course the Cubbies, led by Ryne Sandberg and hardly anyone else. It was a close game, and in the bottom of the eighth Hector Villenueva, a pudgy back up catcher, pinch hit a home run with a runner aboard to win the game for the home town heroes.

What I remember the most is the view from my seat, looking at all of the green, the roofs of the buildings across the streets and the smell of baseball, which you can't get in most other ball parks. After the game my wife and I went and took many pictures until the ushers asked us nicely to leave, as they wanted to go home, too.

If you haven't been, you MUST go...even if you don't like baseball, you'll LOVE Wrigley Field.

Wrigley is cool. A very old stadium with a good atmosphere and lots of history. I have to say though, that I like Fenway more.

It is very close inside but the air is fresh because you're less than a mile from the lake, so you usually get fresh breezes. The view out of the park is entertaining with old apartment buildings and the city skyline. It's fun to go to a game even if you're not into baseball. I saw Jimmy Buffett there last summer, now that's more my style!!!

It's a stadium with a lot of history but needs to be replaced. It's falling apart, literally. You have to say goodbye sometime.
