hi. i suffer from mild acne n ive tried out medications like antibiotics such as erythromycin and dalacin. I took my first course of erythromycin for just a month n my skin was as clear as anythin but then after almost two years i startin getting pimples again. so i went for a 2nd course of antibiotics again but this time it took 3 months and though it cleared up most of my acne it wasnt as effective as the first time. so bottom line is that dermatologist perscribed meds dont have long lasting effects; Even accutane or oral contraceptives. You can check out this website http://acneyoda.com/ it seems to give really sensible answers to the root cause of acne as well as a programme to get rid of it for good (u gotta buy it for bout $60+) and it may be the answer to clear skin. iam gonna be tryin it out soon too..n yea drinkin lotsa water esp purified water is a big help.
you can check out this other website that tells u how to cleanse your face effectively to get rid of acne (it's FREE): http://www.acne.org/regimen.html

Use an acne medication, but I have bad acne too, and I found that drinking lots and lots and lots of water really helps clearing it up. Plus it keeps you hydrated. Just a tip.

I would recommend finding a new product called pro-acne. I've been trying to get ahold of some for a while now, but I hear it really works.

Achne is a HUGE problem just about everyone faces. In my view, proactive really works! It started working in the first 2 days for me! If all else fails then, chin up. Everyone knows what achne is like, and will not look down apon you for it. In fact, I knew a girl ones who had a lot of it.. and some how, weirdly enough it was sort of cute! Anyways, just be greatful your only problem is temporary and fixable!!! :)

acnes sometimes caused by oily skin.. so use the right product. esp those created specifically for acne prone skin. don't over cleanse skin. do not touch existing acnes cos it'll spread. lotions are better than creams as it is lighter. drink heaps of water. good luck babe...!

The answer is change your diet. It's tough but if you want a healthy skin that is what you have to do and then go to steam room. Steam room is perfect to clean all the toxic in your skin. Again a little healthy diet would definitely help. Good luck!

Wash you face a lot. I lead a very active lifestyle and I wash my face wehnever I get really sweaty. You may want to invest in a moisturiser in case the soap drys out your skin.
