If you don't see them on top of the engine, then they are probably under a plastic cover which you just take of and you should see them if you know what too look for. Lot of new cars have covers over their engines to make them look better.

you need to objective to make sure why your #4 became misfiring, became it a foul plug or perhaps a cord? it ought to correctly be firing from less than the boot on the plug, causing the misfire. With all the lighting fixtures fixtures off and in finished darkness, if plausible, open the hood and search for 'blue lighting fixtures fixtures' which will properly be brought about through leaking boots. Ignitions have a good number of voltage now a days, and they tend to leak from many places. contained in the distributor, it ought to have "tracks" made through worn posts, and this dirt accumulates on the in the cap and it ought to reason misfiring. you're speaking thousands of volts, so that they provide the effect of being for an common direction to adhere to and could take the finest. it truly is yet an extra reason someone might want to no longer examine the wires through pulling them and preserving them on the point of the engine, the wonder to the fellow will be deadly. And, in the journey that your spark plug seems undesirable, once you pull it, then it ought to correctly be that each and each one the others are similar and doubtless are not any further to far behind the # 4 plug. So i'd replace all of them, yet first make sure in case you actually do pick to modify any of them. search for leaks.

First off, if u don't know any thing about engines, like where to find the spark plugs then u should not **** with it because u will end up ****ing it up. But if u must, find the head (the top of the engine) and check the front by the exaust manifold.

The cobalt came out 2 years ago. You shouldnt have to replace the plugs for 100,000 mi. . Unless you are driving the hell out of it you shouldnt have to worry about spark plug location just yet.

Probably on the side of the block just below the valve covers. If it is a V8 or V6. If it is a straite they are probably right on top under big rubber caps with wires comming out of them.
Cant you just follow the sparkplug wires to the block.

well you don't have to look far, most new cars don't have the old time Distributor caps, they have more of a coil, or strip like device that will have either 4-6 wires all of same size
