What was your first purchased album/CD/LP, and if there a song that made you choose it, what was the song?
And for you folks like me who remember Vinyl Days, what was your first 45?

The first music I ever bought was a casingle-don't know if anyone remembers that or not so I'll explain just in case. If you didn't want to buy a whole tape, you could buy just a few songs on a cassette single. I think they have the same thing with cds now, anyways, my casingle was Bad English, and I bought it for When I See You Smile. Wow, that was a long time ago. Oh, and my dad somehow convinced me that records were a good investment, I think he should have told me that they were investments if they were from groups like The Beatles, which is what he had. I, on the other hand, still own Janet Jackson, Madonna, and Milli Vanilli on vinyl. I suck, I know, but my tastes have gotten better-promise.

The 1st album I purchased was by ELO. I've always liked ELO and Strange Magic had hit the charts and was a popular song way back then. I still have that album and it's in excellent condition. The first 45 I bought was "Killing Me Softly With His Song."

My first full length album was Air Supply. I found it at a garage sale for 25 cents! Remember 33's...I think my first one was T Pau's "Heart and Soul". My first cassete was Whitney Houston. My First CD was SADLY, Green Day. I don't listen to any of this stuff anymore.

My first 45 was "Love Will Keep Us Together" by The Captain & Tennille. I used to wait until my mother left the house, and then I put it on the record player, turn it up REAL loud and dance all over the living room! (Muskrat Love was on the flip-side)
Thanks for the trip down memory lane! :-)
