the most common crimes are fraud eg if u search for africa 419 emails, and the other is people selling stuff and the buyer is from the same location and they send a cheque for a much larger amount, so if u search for ebay scams.
most of the scams come from africa, usually nigeria and places close by.

There really is not a profile of who is victimized the most. However, like others said, a person is more likely to fall victim to cybercrimes it they don't know how or don't take precautions to protect themselves. The less a person knows, the more likely he/she is to being taken advantage of.
Of course, I am assuming you are discussing the average user who may fall victim to things like phishing or ID theft (the stuff that is in the news). There are other things that go bump on the net as well - many target corporations or organizations. For example, Distributed Denial of Service attacks, web hijacking, etc. The topic of digital security and cybercrime is huge.

any ones a victim, but ones that the media are concerned about are brobably online bankers, and corporations being hacked like in the paper not long ago when ebay and amazon were wasted by some hacker and made losses of millions of dollars
