TV and movie making youngsters lazy??

is tv and movie be banned at least on week days bcos youngsters are not working they are interested in watching movies and tv rather than do something or enjoy themselves, if this continue world would have only entertainers no researchers

I think that a lot of teens are so hooked up with ipods, the internet, television, video games, etc. that they aren't doing anything else. Something must be done!

Oh yeah without question. Video games may promote hand eye coordination but they aren't doing anything. TV is dumbing kids down with the worthless programming on. It's completely mindless. Movies are garbage now. I may see one a year. Letting kids watch an hour or so a day is cool. But they need to understand that going outside is a need.

Kids need to run. They get all this eneregy built up in them and they don't know what to do with it so they act out. People are letting their kids watch WAY too much TV. Kids need to be run. Make them hang outside doing some form of activity during the day, dinner that night, homework, then an hour or so of TV and they're in bed.

I find that kids use computers far more than watch tv and the computer world is one place that gives us the ability to research almost anything very quickly. When Rick and I are watching tv and he has a question about the subject matter or the actors I can pop into the computer room and pull up answers to almost anything. Lazy is simply how many people are and will be.

Yes and I think it is making a lot of the anger you see in people now a days! Seems like everything is high tech. Even TVs in the cars! does anyone goes out and walk with out music. Can you go anywhere with out a phone? How did people survive with out calling someone from the grocery store check out line just to say I am almost home! Or down load TV to their phone! I even saw a new channel geared just for BABYS! Wow, Not kids Babys!

It's not just kids, because adults can be pretty lazy too. People young or old should go outside and be active. Tv and movies are cool sometimes but I think alll things should be done in moderation (except sex, hehe). Kids will follow their parents/caretakers example. For example, my parents always taught me to stay active. So I still am!

sometimes, tv and movie can be educational too, so the type(s) of tv programmes and movies can be important.
i didn't watch tv as youngster, although now, as a research assistant, i watch tv, such as the evening news, for entertainment and/or learning purposes. when i'm busy, of course, i skip the tv.

Yea sex sells even if it doesn't make it precise..I agree..each thing is exceedingly a lot per sex and that is rather disgusting. some females have lost all appreciate and albeit, i'm ill of turning on the television and seeing talkshows about "who's my infant dad" and a woman getting her fifth paternity try. experience undesirable for those young ones and am a touch afraid for the subsequent era. This fires me up yet what's even worse, are videos like noted, Hostel, etc..videos that in simple terms prepare gore to the max..see you later as my infant is round me, he received't journey that crap that human beings call leisure..

Young People like myself are not always just entertainers... the majority may be but there is enough out there that it won't be a problem. Also, as we grow up our minds grow and our ideas change just as our taste in clothes or food does.
