I used Yahoo answer/question for the first time last week to solve a pc issue. I appreciate the information that I was able to find to resolve my problem without asking the question.
While reading, asking some questions and answers for several days now, would I be correct to assume that most people are under 40?. Are there older people out there beside a new comer like me? Let me know if you are out there.......thanks for answering my other questions (young or old, it was very helpful).

I am 24...and I can see what you mean about people being under 40. Some of these questions seem like they come from kids trying to be funny. Regardless, it is an amusing place to waste time...and sometimes actually help someone with a legitimate question. I have gotten some good answers on here as well that helped me with home theater and PC questions. Take care...and just enjoy the questions...as ridiculous as they can be. You have to admit...it can be quite entertaining for bored people or people with insomnia.

Yes Yahoo is from age 13 up. Previous questions about the age of people on Yahoo answers seem to indicate an average age in the 20s.

I'm > 40

You can generally tell how old someone is just by their questions and answers.I think most of the people are under 40,but then again most people on the net in general are under 40.I started with a pc question also.I enjoy the answers whether they are informative, sensitive or stupid.Good release for me.

They are at that age. They want to play and socialize at mealtime. This happens more so with my kids when we're eating out somewhere. Some at home, but not as much. Positive results for behaving well ; special dessert made for them, extra tv time, day out with mommy at the park or other place. OR one that works for older kids. A reward chart with stickers. At the end of the week they get an amount of money they earned throughout the week per sticker to buy a new toy they want. Then negative results for misbehaving ; no dessert, less or no tv time, toys taken away, time outs and so forth. When it comes to both types of results, stay consistent. It will take time for a child at this age to learn and really understand what they do has long term effects.

Well no matter what their age is, there are times where the answers sound like they come from a 12 year old...

BTW 42 the photo is when I was much younger.
Now I am old, fat and happy... LOL

Old Fart Here! 57 and yes, the vast majority on here are teens it seems......hopefully some of the knowledge which we impart here to the younger ones will be listened to. I would only hope that they will, at some point, realize that you can guess at the crossroads of life, or listen to one who is familiar with the road they are traveling because we have traveled it many times before!

You are not correct to assume, as there is no way to know one way or the other. I suspect many older people troll as children, and vice versa.

I claim to be 39, but do you really know?
