A wise person once said ... the lucky are those who take opportunity and weigh the odds in thier favor.

Those who manipulate the odds (loaded dice, marked cards) seem lucky but they are in fact taking an opportunity and weighing it in their favor; I don't condone or suggest cheating.

But if the odds of winning at something are 10 to 1, why not do it 10 times instead of doin it 1?

True some may win on the 1 try but as the lottery slogan goes:

"Ya gotta be in it to win it" and "Whether you think you can or think you can't... You're right"

You probably feel this way because you perceive yourself as unlucky.

There are always two ways to look at the same thing. You lost everything you have in a fire. You can think that you are unlucky to lose everything, or.. you can think that you are lucky enough to stay alive.

Look around you, compare to those people who don't even have the chance to touch a computer or to able to use the Internet. You are already luckier then them, if you are able to post this question here. Yes, I am lucky.. because I think of myself this way!

Why do you feel unlucky? Maybe everyone else is not "lucky", maybe you need to see the glass as half full instead of half empty.

If your asking yourself that chances are that you're feeling sorry for yourself. No offense intended, you should ask yourself why this is so.After all there is always someone worse off than you.
